The Follow-up Department was established at Al-Farahidi University with the founding of the university in 2013. The department is directly linked to the office of the honorable President of the University. The Follow-up Department is considered one of the most important departments as it is responsible for maintaining and providing security and order within the university. The department is headed by a director who is considered directly responsible for all department tasks, supervising all follow-up employees, and following up on security tasks for all colleges and departments of our university. He is charged with the responsibility of the campus guards division in addition to his duties.

Achieving security, stability and protection for the educational institution (university). Monitoring students behavior on campus. Establishing an electronic monitoring system for the operation of surveillance cameras by placing surveillance cameras on all buildings of the university presidency and monitoring them on a daily basis in the cameras and surveillance room of our department in light of developments. Issuing tickets and authorizations for vehicles to enter the university campus for the purpose of controlling the safety of the university. The department coordinates with the governorates security services by approaching the security services about providing adequate protection. Providing adequate protection for all celebrations and festivals held at the university. Controlling fires, completing the requirements for prevention, safety, and civil defense, and using modern means and technology by providing fire sensing and early warning systems and modern means of extinguishing fires

The Information Division is concerned with controlling the entrances and exits of the colleges and departments affiliated with the university, receiving visitors from outside the university, coordinating with the guards, organizing the work of the badges and their numbering, as well as monitoring the movement of suspicious elements on the badges / issuing, checking and studying the badges, authorizations and entry permits for humanitarian centers, state departments, clubs, contracts, postgraduate studies and retirees.

It is the division responsible for issuing vehicle entry permits to the university campus for the purpose of controlling the safety of the university, and issuing vehicle entry permits to workers of companies working in university projects, as well as students for the purpose of facilitating the entry of their vehicles into the campus, and for the purpose of controlling campus safety.

It is the division responsible for managing surveillance cameras to enhance security control on the university campus. In addition to maintaining and updating the surveillance camera system inside and outside the university buildings due to the security necessity that requires cameras that operate efficiently and with high accuracy. It is worth noting that there are more than 300 surveillance cameras covering the corridors and walls of the university 24 hours a day. These cameras are monitored through their own control rooms that work to provide a safe environment for students, in addition to their role in monitoring classrooms at the time of exams.

The unit undertakes the following tasks: holding periodic meetings with students in coordination with colleges and departments to identify the negatives and positives of interaction and joint work and the possibility of opening a space for the university students opinion. Follow up on offensive posts published on social media sites and student magazines. Controlling the spread of rumors spread by weak-minded people. Holding awareness workshops to combat scourges that target students and society, such as (sectarianism, drugs, and alcohol... ). Contributing to supporting scientific and cognitive methods, such as coordinating with students to establish book and other science fair camps. Solve problems that arise between students in a friendly and civilized manner and ensure that these problems do not lead to legal and tribal disputes.
