Government Contracts Division

About the division: the division is administratively linked to the president of the university and technically to the government contracts department in the ministry. It consists of several units, and each unit has its tasks: follow-up unit: following up on the requirements for preparing the work site or necessary warehouses for storage, or allocating the lands required for the project, and following up on the legal procedures for expropriation. Contracting unit: preparing tender documents administratively and coordinating with the government contracts department in the ministry to choose the optimal method for implementing contracts. Legal unit: following up on the legal cases against the university and the cases that the university raises against the second party regarding contracts concluded with companies. Archive unit: the unit archives information related to conducting contracts electronically, storing official correspondence, and carrying out administrative tasks. Investment unit: following up on the universitys investment projects, developing a technical and economic feasibility study, as well as proposing investment projects for the public interest. The import unit: it undertakes all the work of the import and processing unit, which has been implicitly merged into the contracts division.
