Since its establishment, Al-Farahidi University has adopted a scientific and educational approach that contributes to building society and enriching it with various sciences and knowledge aligned with the job market. Based on these principles, the university worked on creating scientific forums in various specialties, including the establishment of the College of Sciences with its two departments: Forensic Sciences and Medical Physics. Medical Physics is one of the branches of applied physics and a biological science in the field of radiology, nuclear medicine, diagnostic imaging, radiation protection, and the use of lasers, ultrasound, and magnetic waves in detecting various medical conditions within the human body. The department has witnessed significant interest from students seeking to complete their studies in this distinguished field, aiming to graduate specialized professionals in medical physics capable of working in hospitals and health centers.
