Prof. Nidhal Abdul-Mohymen Mohammad.

The Forensic Evidence Department is a scientific department capable of supplying the community with graduates possessing competence and experience in investigating and detecting the causes of crimes, regardless of the presence of evidence at the crime scene. The university has prioritized the establishment of this department since 2019, making it distinguished within the university, especially with its partnership for student work and training with the Ministry of Interior.

Message

1. Prepare scientifically and professionally qualified competencies by providing applied academic programs that keep pace with scientific and technological developments in the field of forensic evidence. 2. Develop outstanding educational programs that consider the actual needs of students in the specialty field and meet the requirements of the national development plan, while providing consultancy services in forensic sciences.

Goals

1. Develop technical and administrative capabilities in forensic laboratories to keep pace with developments, utilizing various international experiences. 2. Strengthen links and collaboration between researchers in scientific entities and specialized research centers locally, regionally, and globally. 3. Implement a quality performance system in forensic laboratories through special programs that qualify students and researchers to gain experience in using the latest scientific and digital technologies in analyzing results and evidence, supporting the legal information and skills acquired by students during their years of study.
