Dear teachers My children are students Here we are beginning a new academic year with the emergence of our college (the College of Science), a year that brings all good wishes to renew hope in a stable scientific environment. The esteemed University Board of Directors played a distinguished role in establishing this college, as it is considered a fundamental pillar of the education system, in addition to its major role in teaching and graduating numbers of students. I am very pleased to welcome you all in the year of the establishment of the college with its departments of Forensic Sciences and Medical Physics Sciences, and I congratulate all faculty members for joining this college. The year 2023-2024 is the sixth academic year in forensic sciences and the first year in medical physics sciences, and we are confident that everyone will not fail a single day in giving to light the path for our students, develop academic, research and administrative work in the education system and achieve the college’s goals in developing programs that meet the need. The labor market includes qualified cadres in basic sciences in addition to forensics and medical physics, and opening channels of cooperation with ministries and institutions so that the graduate has skills that give him preference in the labor market. My dear students, we hope that you will live up to the responsibility that the university has entrusted to you by providing the opportunity to study there. We hope that you will be distinguished in your academic giving and your behavior on campus and that you will invest in the opportunity that parents have worked so hard to provide for you. The College of Science is one of the new colleges at Al-Farahidi University in the year 2023-2024 as part of the university’s future directions and the full support of the university’s Board of Directors, as the college began with two departments: Forensic Sciences and Medical Physics Sciences. The college has witnessed a wide turnout by students, especially the Department of Forensic Sciences, especially since the department is committed to a memorandum of cooperation with the Ministry of the Interior (the Directorate of Forensic Investigations and the Higher Institute for Security and Administrative Development), where Interior officers give lectures on precise criminal investigations and hold participating seminars, workshops, and conferences in All specializations of basic, technical and medical sciences, with the presence of a distinguished teaching staff in the college. Our future aspirations are for the college to include new departments and distinguished scientific units in scientific research that contribute effectively to the science and knowledge community and to be a fundamental pillar of Al-Farahidi University. This year, the college received 614 students in the Forensic Evidence Department and 301 students in the Medical Physics Department for the first stage.
