It relies on well-known search engines such as Google, Yahoo, Inbound Link, and Alexa Traffic Ranking. The purpose of this classification is to rank universities and what their websites contain in order to encourage universities to publish their scientific activities and research, reflecting their high academic standards, and allowing others to benefit from their internet presence. The criteria for this classification are as follows:The size of the university's website on the internet using the specified search engines (20%).The rich and useful files on the website, including research, laws, regulations, instructions, etc., whether in PDF, Word, PPT, etc. (15%).Google Scholar, referring to the number of research papers published by faculty members at the university, accessible through Google (15%).The visibility of the university's website among others, which is the impact of the university's research and studies available on the website on the research of others, and citations by others of the research available on the university's website. This factor is usually called the Impact Number, and it is assigned 50% of the weight. It is considered one of the most important university rankings in the world.
