Vision

The department’s vision is based on developing a scientific basis for understanding language and literature in a way that is consistent with contemporary philosophies and directing it in a way that reveals the specificity of the Arabic language and its working mechanism in the field of critical and stylistic studies and phonetic and grammatical studies. This vision assumes that the values of virtue are established in society and that the student’s intellectual perceptions are expanded.

Message

The department prepares an educated cadre who is aware of the importance of the Arabic language and its specificity among the world’s languages. It opens horizons for interaction with society, conveying the noble values that the Arabic language carries, and graduating students who master the Arabic language correctly.

Goals

1- Preparing a generation aware of the importance of educational and human values because of their effective impact in building society in a way that leads to a life that keeps pace with the cultural development that people seek to make their way of life optimal. 2- Extending ways of cooperation between students of the College of Education and education directorates and preparing Arabic language teachers scientifically and professionally. 3- Promoting the Arabic language as the language of the Holy Qur’an and the Noble Prophet’s Hadith. 4- Explaining the human horizon of this language among the languages of the contemporary world. 5- Working to develop the student’s linguistic and literary skills in proportion to the size of the task assigned to him.
